Class of 2020

Digital Showcase

Welcome to our first Manchester Fashion Institute Digital Showcase.

The Class of 2020 have finished their studies in the most exceptional circumstances, showing us that through adversity comes innovation, creativity and a need for change.

We invite you to explore our programme pages where you can experience a wealth of approaches, viewpoints and skillsets across fashion design, communication and business. Follow the graduating students journeys so far, see their work, hear their stories, and how they are driving change and innovation through fashion.

You are also invited to our ‘What’s Next’ events series. What’s Next for the future of our industry, valuing creativity, graduate careers and employability and how we present and showcase fashion. You can find the programme here.

Before we leave you to explore the work, we would like to thank our brilliant, talented, resilient Class of 2020. We are very proud of all your achievements, including our many award winners, and we look forward to watching you grow into fashion leaders, entrepreneurs, practitioners, innovators and activists. The future is in your very capable hands. Thank you also to the guest editors, who are representing their cohorts on the programme pages.

Thank you to our academic, technical and professional services colleagues who work together to support the students and also to the digital, marketing and event teams who have made this showcase happen.

And as always, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our industry, cultural and global education partners, to the guest speakers, placement providers, alumni and collaborators who bring our programmes to life and offer such generous support to our students and graduates.
