Stylist and image maker with a focus on art direction, based in Manchester with a maximalist and satirical approach to my practice. Often seeking inspiration from current events and trends, Juxtaposing this with classic vintage influences.

RETROSPECT is an ongoing project born from British nostalgia and an experiment into pushing the boundaries of taste. Created as not just a space for my own creative output but to be an ongoing platform for multi-disciplinary creatives to showcase their skills. RETROSPECT is an alternative lifestyle magazine inspired by affordable women's magazines such as 'Take a Break' taking the elements of these magazines to the extreme, with a satirical spin. With themes of nostalgia and living above ones means to give an overall theme of tongue-in- cheek excess. Through taking classic features of a women's magazine, such as agony aunt columns and celebrity interviews, and combining this with the current events and input from contemporary creatives this creates a clever comment on the current climate juxtaposed with a bright and exciting layout.
