BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology (Menswear) 2020

Specialising in Menswear with a particularly interest in tailoring. I was selected as an Excellence award winner of the Sustainability Conference at Wuhan Textile university, China as part of a ‘Forces for Sustainable Change’ project 2019.

This collection is influenced by the forms, volumes and expressions of the human bodies depicted in Francis Bacon's paintings, particularly his screaming nurses. Developing the volumized silhouettes into panels, and the cry of the nurse into reinvented laser-etched prints to convey a sensational impression. Stimulating classic menswear with conceptual vitality to create compelling garments.
