My interest in feminism within the fashion and wellness industry is what inspired me to create my final project. Girls That Get Off is a multi-channel brand that explores Female Sexual Wellness. The brand consists of a digital zine, e-newsletters, website, social media and merchandise.

The sex education system in the UK is failing so many young women. Sex and relationships are not discussed and as women we are only taught how to handle a man's pleasure appropriately to prevent pregnancy. We are not taught how to have healthy boundaries in our relationships, or even why it's ok to say 'no' to sex. Young women have the right to an education which helps them understand how to have better a relationship with sex. In the #MeToo era, women are speaking out about their sexual-wellbeing and issues such as The Orgasm Gap. The sexual wellness space is a growing market and there is a clear demand from young women for more educational and accessible resources.

I have created a digital zine - Girls That Get Off: A Guide to Sexual Wellness. The zine aims to deliver content that educates, entertains and inspire readers. Opening the conversation about female self-pleasure, the zine is a safe space where young women can go to seek recommendations and resources.

The zine solves a problem in society, that female pleasure is taboo, and young women do not feel comfortable to talk about it with their peers. The purpose is to prevent young women feeling embarrassed or ashamed of discussing their sexual wellness.  Girls That Get Off is an educational and community resource for every woman to learn more about how she can access pleasure.
