I'm a technical menswear designer who is passionate about maximalist design featuring baggy fits, interesting construction techniques and surface design. My work features oversized silhouettes and details, loud fabrications and joining techniques inspired by the excesssive nature of Japanese anti establishment car culture known as Bozosoku. Within my graduate collection I hand stitched and utilised vinyl as an alternative to typical stitch and finishing methods, taking inspiration from the infamous DIY drift stitch often used to temporarily hold car body kits together.  As a lover of 1970's interior design, I pay homage to Bridget Riley, the mother of the Op Art movement through my distorted gingham and stripe screen print designs.

Textile design is very important to me, I am always looking for fabrics at my local charity shops, scrap yards and skips to re purpose previously discarded material. Using combinations of screen print, embellishing and bleaching allow me to develop loud textile samples to then take forward into garment and accessory design.
