My practice is a diary of my life. Questions and emotions weigh on me and need to be explored. Through the lens of fashion, I can explore mental health, working-class culture, sportswear, politics, technology, print and much more. I desire to always be in touch with the cutting edge of my field. Understanding new forms of digital communication keeps me engaged. As a gay black man from a lower-income household, I have had a fascination with analysing identity. The fragile state of modern masculinity, the vulnerability of the underclass, the lineage of my grandmother from the Windrush era. All are essential parts of my identity that underpin my perspective on life and influence the things I create.
