I am a womenswear designer and an important element for me is to create a collection in which every woman can find something for themselves. In my design process I mainly focus on a style which represents a strong and independent woman but also a beautiful and magical creature.
As a designer I have always been inspired by modern art, vintage clothes and abstract silhouettes. I have a passion for prints and textiles first and foremost, and the way the shapes, lines and colours integrate to create a unique pattern is why I chose to specialise in print making. I want people to express their unique identities through the clothes they wear, to be bold and fearless, not confined by basic commercial fashion trends and standards. I like to explore and mix techniques together, engineering my print designs into creative pattern cutting.
My research is always based on drawings from my observations which help me to develop my ideas and textile samples. In my creative process I focus my attention on the trends of world's designers who inspire my designing process, and in turn help me come up with original designs.
I am a person who sees inspiration all around me and try to use it in my work. I am constantly looking for new ideas to support my research because I believe that it can improve my and better my designs.
