"On paper, I am a British citizen, yet the label doesn’t seem to fit. For much of my childhood, I experienced tension between the culture I was immersed in at school and the culture that my mother has kept alive within our home. Thai but not quite, British but not exactly".

A philosophy informed by upbringing and nostalgia, with the focus of materiality and craft inspired by dual heritage and culture. Capturing my initial memories and experiences as a young immigrant entering a new environment. Represented though the idea of school uniform and sports kit.
