Girls Who Grieve is an app and social media platform for18-24-year-old women experiencing bereavement grief and loss. After researching existing grief resources, it was clear that dark colour schemes could encourage negative coping mechanisms. GWG aims to depict grief in a positive light; using soft colour schemes and playful illustrations to encourage positive coping mechanisms and to lift the taboo.

My research highlighted the mental health epidemic amongst Generation Z digital mourners. However, existing grief support advertised for 'young people' often do not offer support for 18-24-year-olds. Girls Who Grieve aims to bridge this gap and provide a positive community digital space for 18-24-year-old females who may be seeking support either in the form of useful resources or finding like-minded individuals to build a support network to help benefit their mental health.

I would tell my L4 self to stop worrying about making mistakes because it's not a mistake, it's an opportunity to learn and grow.
