BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology (Womenswear) 2020

Perfectly imperfect is a collection inspired by Halima Cassell's sculptures, elements of sportswear and African print. It combines my love of womenswear and sportswear. It embraces freedom from convention and rules, with a modern take on classic silhouttes. The main fabric is dupion silk, with its unique texture and uneven surface, making it perfectly imperfect. This collection expresss my own style, character and experiences in life. It represents of who l am as a designer, carrying my roots with me.

In 2019, my work was selected to be showcased at the Wuhan Textile University Sustainability Conference, where I was awarded WINNER of the EEKA World Innovation Design Competition.
