Final year student from BA (Hons) Fashion Buying and Merchandising programme wins Outstanding Placement of the Year award at Annual Faculty Awards

The Outstanding Placement of the Year category reflects the great work in partnership with an organisation or business as part of a student’s year of study or as an extra-curricular activity. Patience completed a buying placement at British online supermarket, Ocado, and was described as a ‘valued member of the team’ by her former manager.

Patience said “I am so grateful to be the winner of the Placement of the Year award at Manchester Metropolitan University. I am genuinely so humbled by the nomination itself. A big thank you to those that nominated me. I definitely could not have got this award without the breadth of knowledge gained over the years from all my lecturers. Another big thank you to the wonderful people at Ocado who made my year in industry so enjoyable.”
