Student community

Our international students are part of a community and there is a wealth of additional support available to international students to aid personal development alongside their studies, including coaching for academic English through the language centre, Short courses for written English, membership to the International Society and the opportunity to attend various social events throughout the year.

At Manchester Fashion Institute we also have a number of staff members who take on the role of International Support Tutors throughout the academic year. Each tutor might be responsible for up to 5 or 6 international students which allows them to give one to one support whenever it is needed.

There are also opportunities for you to speak directly with our current international students, to get a first hand account of their experience of studying in Manchester.
