BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion 2020
Throughout the three years of studying BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion coursse, I have been able to explore and create various pieces of work which all have different purposes within the fashion industry. The ten images I have chosen to present are from four seperate units, the skills gained from these units have allowed me to understand what is needed for a future career within the fashion industry.
The first four images are from the work I produced within the second year of my studies, in which Richard Malone was my chosen designer, and the two campaigns created was to target two new audiences for the brand; one was UK based and the other was created for an international market. The international market I selected was Japan, I wanted to combine Malone's unique style and combine this with street style focusing on a younger market.
The Supreme and Calvin Klein campaign is a unit from my final year, creating a new and exclusive collaboration with the two brands. This campaign captured the unique features from each brand through styling and direction, to expand their consumer market effectively.
The final five images selected are from my last two units, that focused on creating a new magazine brand that would represent every individual within society, through exploring people's fashion identity. This brand would focus on creating a community with no discrimination or allienating certain groups, that would target the Generation Z consumers specifically. Selff as a brand focuses on connecting to the targeted market through publication, and social media. The images include the two exclusive covers for the first issue of Selff, the content included within the magazine and the marketing platforms used for this brand.
I have a keen interest in producing creative content, styling and social meda marketing; and conitue to expand my skills further within my free time.
