I am an active researcher, with a focus on producing high quality research that create an impact and possibly bring about change. I specialise in the field of fashion marketing and conduct research in the areas of corporate heritage identity, culture, sustianability and place branding, focusing on identity management, identity creation process, social sustainability and secondhand fashion trade in Ghana. When I am not eating and sleeping, guaranteed I'm actively engaging in writing with the aim of publishing in 3* and 4* journals.

Academic and professional qualifications

I have a PhD which I optained at the University of Manchester. My thesis explored the construct of heritage identities within textile producing communities that function like organisations. I have a BA Hons in Fashion Design and Technology which I obtained at International Fashion Academy in Paris, France. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Previous Employment

I previously worked at the University of Manchester alongside my PhD, where I taught on the Fashion Marketing programme and the MSc International Fashion Marketing Distance learning programme which was solely based online. I have experience in retail in the USA (Billabong, Paul Carroll), France (Alexis Mabille, Jean Charles de Castelbajac) and Ghana (Woodin). I also have experience within the oil industry working as a Marketing manager.
