Manchester Fashion Institute teamed up with The Sun Newspaper to undertake independent textile testing of various school uniforms.
The textile testing involved using our specialist equipment to wash uniforms from Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Tesco 40 times to see which really are value for money and which could best withstand frequent washing.

Tesco’s school uniforms came out on top for a number of the tests and Tesco used our testing results in newspaper ads featured in The Telegraph Newspaper to advertise their school uniforms.
