Your course
I loved my course at Manchester Fashion Institute. The classes themselves were informative and interesting, but I was also given a number of great opportunities to enhance my learning – such as travelling to Berlin Fashion Week.

The City 
My favourite thing about studying in Manchester was having the chance to deeply immerse myself and learn about a different culture. Also that it is such a multicultural city, I got to learn about other countries’ cultures too!

International Student Experience 
As an international student it has been fantastic. At the start my English wasn’t great, but my tutors suggested that I take an Academic English Practice class within the University. It was so helpful and I felt much more confident afterwards. My teachers and fellow students have been very helpful and supportive, and made the transition to living in a different country much easier.

Before graduating Ziyu Wang secured a full time role at Vogue China, where she continues to work now
