Ivan is originally from China, he spent 6 years studying and later working in Canada before moving to the UK to pursue further study in fashion. He recently graduated from the BA (Hons) International Fashion (Top Up) course at Manchester Fashion Institute.

“The International Fashion Top up Course really focuses on what the industry is looking for in a graduate. I am constantly being challenged to think more so that I have an advantage over other graduates. I’ve learnt a great deal about sustainability, how to run a business and how to be an entrepreneur which has set me up for a career in the industry. The course I chose has also allowed me to spend time with other students from all around the world, which allows me to experience their culture and learn about the fashion industry in their countries first hand. Its been a really exciting year.”
