Principal Lecturer in Fashion Buying, Interim Division Head for Fashion Business and Sustainability lead. Graduating from Leeds Beckett with BA (Hons) Consumer Services Management, I spent ten years fashion buying for the outdoor clothing industry before joining MMU to lead the Fashion Buying Masters programme where I teach buying, merchandising, sustainability, costing, and range planning.
I have an MA in Academic Practice, an Advance HE Senior Fellow (SFHEA) and I am interested in fashion technology, sustainability, employability and all things denim. I have taught in many external institutions most recently at Pearl Academy Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai, and I am an External Examiner at the University of South Wales.
Research interests: Made in Britain, Fashion Business, Fashion Buying, International Fashion Sourcing, Ethical Trade and sustainability and teaching and Learning.
