"My final collection is based around understanding the end user needs in Extreme Polar Expedition / Endurance Touring. I aim to engineer garments that provide solutions to the challenges athletes face. E.g comfort and movement. In this 3-outfit collection, I have made a set of merino wool base layers with laser cut mesh panels, laser cut breathing mechanism, embroidered branding and balaclava hood; A jacket and bib salopette, and finally a multifunctional summit suit that acts as a sleeping bag with heat sealed baffles and a detachable fur hood. Together, the interaction between these layers enhance and support comfort and performance without impacting activity."
