Final Major Project - In Loving Memory Of Work
In Loving Memory of Work is dedicated to my grandad, as this whole concept is centred around the 1984-1985 miners strike, which he was a part of up until the Christmas of 1984.
The concept of this project is all about archival workwear being transformed into wearable, luxury feminine pieces that are nostalgic of the miners, many of the pieces are made for women but due to the shape and slouched size of them I would class most of my collection as unisex.
