My design work is about empowering women.
It deoicts how women can use dress to enhance their power and demonstrate their contemporary position in their families and workplace. The work examines the history of female empowerment through the idea of pioneering change and fighting for position in a world slowly transitioning from patriarchal society. Its about the brave the bold, being the heroine of the story.
Using 3D priniting, heat transfer and modular design my work seeks to recall history and memory of female strength. To me the designs are timeless, because in many places around the world women are yet to emerge as men's equals.
