I am a womenswear designer specialising in print and surface design. My final collection was inspired by the print and colour of the 1960s but also drawing on the feminist themes within this era. My muse is a modern feminist whose aesthetic is a clear nod to the 60s but still contemporary. When designing my prints I developed my flower motif into a 3D shape which became the key silhouette throughout my collection. I wanted to use these puffer flowers in a playful way to create vibrant and bold looks that are a celebration of print and colour. I used a range of printed techniques within my collection but largely screen print and digital print.
