My experience at Manchester Metropolitan University has been exceptional. The degree, alongside industry- experienced lecturers made the five years I spent at university crucial in developing my future, as I have gained skills and insightful knowledge of the buying role.
During my time at MMU, I was lucky enough to complete a placement year at Boohoo with the help and guidance from the university. This experience was life changing and has provided me with industry experience, which has made me ready to face such a competitive industry and preform to the best of my ability. The university is determined to push each student to perform to the best of their talents, furthermore I have left university feeling confident that I will succeed in my future work life due to being pushed out of my comfort zone through presentations and group tasks.
The university provides amazing opportunities such as industry talks and placements allowing us to build contacts and shape us into industry ready individuals. I truly believe I have evolved and gained huge confidence during my time at MMU, which has been a dream come true and something I will always be grateful for.
