George Deeming

Designing conceptual menswear’s with a lighthearted view, using print and pattern cutting to display concept. My third year collection is based on the idea of a vampire going to the supermarket, trying to blend into an environment of overconsumption and capitalism. Branding became a big part of my collection because it is so crucial to a supermarket’s identity, which has fed into my collections identity, mocking big brands and food items with a vampire inspired twist; Bloodweiser, Wing Chips, Fang Puffs, Suckers Mints. Print design and exploration of supermarket packaging has pushed the collection, while underpinning concept with classic menswear garment types.
