For my final year project, I looked into the effects of over consumption and through research I discovered that without reducing consumption, the effort of sustainable materials and recycling will not achieve a reduction in the number of clothing going to landfill. I then looked further into the concept of a capsule wardrobe and saw the benefits for both the environment and the mind. By reducing the number of clothes you own, you can learn to utilise what you have more effectively and therefore reduce the desire to purchase more, while no longer feeling like you have nothing to wear. Consequently, Look No Further was created as an educational platform for efficient clothing use as well as retailer for capsule, timeless clothing that lasts.
