Throughout my course I have developed my style towards sportswear, particularly a combination of streetwear with protective gear. My final year project was based around skateboarding with inspiration from japanese street fashion and comic book aesthetics. This project introduced me to the skating community, the world of cosplay and technologies such as 3D printing to aid with the protective features. I enjoyed the technical aspects of my projects as well as graphic design, printing. I would love to continue working on niche sportswear such as skateboarding or other similar pursuits and create garments that would enhance these activities.
