Fashion Manufacturing & Product Development

Whilst recognising the importance of traditional craft and product design, the fashion industry has developed an increasing demand for both mass customisation and more sustainable fashion design practices. The innovation zone connects key stages of manufacture using digital technologies that align with the principals of micro manufacture. The Benzie building also houses those more traditional crafts such as knitting and weaving machinery and all of our industry standard equipment allows our students/partners to produce and manufacture products sustainably.
