Head of Business Engagement
A Day In The Life Of Barbara Shepherd
My job is to ensure industry partners can identify and secure a cost-benefit for their business through working with me and the team here at the Fashion Institute and across Manchester Metropolitan University.
I understand the needs of business – your development processes, timelines and costs.
The diversity of my industry inspires me. I can work from technical textiles to high street fashion to designer bespoke ranges. No day is the same, I am never bored in my work. Successful people in my industry are passionate, hard working and there is a great sense of team in everything that I do.
