Saturday Club

Manchester Fashion Institute, in partnership with the National Fashion and Business Saturday Club and the British Fashion Council, present a unique opportunity for students aged between 13 – 15 years old to join a free, weekly Saturday programme.

Running from November 2016 for 20 weeks, students will attend weekly interactive sessions run by academic and industry experts to build their creative and entrepreneurial skills. This will allow them to discover potential career and study opportunities in the fashion industry.

In 2016, 24 club members from 13 schools across greater Manchester joined the club and had the opportunity to learn about and practice fashion. You can see the highlights from last year’s club here:

Work produced by the students will displayed at a high profile industry event at Somerset House, London in summer 2017.

We ask that all expressions of interest are received by 29th October. Places are limited so to avoid disappointment we encourage applicants to apply early by emailing Club Tutor, Kelly Joseph, at K.Joseph@mmu.ac.uk.
