Fashion Design and Technology showcase in collaboration with the Gallery of Costume at Manchester Art Gallery.

Recently, our level 5 Fashion Design and Technology students were set a brief my Manchester Art Gallery. To choose and fully investigate a piece from their new costume collection and use this as a starting point for a creative design project. 

They were asked to explore the relationship between old and new and to use technology to inform contemporary ideas for innovation fabrication, cut, silhouette and construction techniques.
